Immunizations...Suck!

So today we went to the doctors for Jovan's 2 month check up, and plus his first immunizations. So when we got there they checked his weight & length. So now he's weighing 12lbs exact, 24.8inches long. He's a big boy. Well then came his shots, it was the worse part of visiting the doctors. They have him three and when they did he yelled so loud and my heart broke and I started crying that even tears were coming out of his eyes and I couldn't stand it and looked away and my tears started coming out. I think im going to hate taking him when he get his next ones. Next was Tynenol and he loved it, and his bottle, and he fell right to sleep. Once we got home he woke up and he was the happiest little guy. He would smile on every picture we would take. But later today he was no happy guy anymore. He was crying and I didn't know what to do. Thank goodness I still live with my parents and my mom is so close that she knew what to do. Thanks mom!

Every Hour Step Out

So church this sunday started at 1pm. I was a little excited that Jovan would actually sleep through most of it because that's his nap time, but nope he was awake through the whole thing. And just enjoyed making loud noises with his bottle, and then just wanting to be held facing everyone. I had to walk out during sacrament, then handed him to my mom during sunday school and she had to step outside for a while with him, and then during relief society I had to step out again and once I walked out the door he stopped crying. So funny how he knows things. I can't believe how big his getting too! Everyone says he's so big for 2 months, and yup he eats really good! Just wait till he can eat solid foods :)

Blessing & Happy Birthday Dad Big 61!

Yesterday January 3rd was Jovan's blessing. I decided to have it at home. My dad gave him the blessing, with our Bishop and some priest from our ward that have been very close to our family all these years that we have been in the 9th ward. I was so grateful that I could have my dad give Jovan his blessing. I felt the spirit so strong during the prayer and it was so wonderful. We had family come over and some friends. It also was my dad birthday so we had a little dinner and cake. Jovan looked absolutley adorbale in his white suit.

Jovan's First Christmas

This year for Christmas, we went to Oscar house on Christmas eve and celebrated it with his family, uncles, aunts and cousins. Jovan had presents from his grandmas and aunts and one big one from us. He got clothes and a swing. On the 25th we had a dinner with my family and Iriana and her mom came over and we celebrated it at my home and ate yummy and lots of food. Oscar got me a new digital Sony Cybershot camera that I have fallen inlove with and its pink!! :) I got Oscar a new stereo for his car because the last one got stolen out of his car. Chritsmas was great!

Pregnancy, Labor & Delivery

Found out I was pregnany in March 2009. First three months terrible! Morning, afternoon & evening sickness. Found out in June that it was a boy! I was so excited! Non exciting part was finding out I had gained 60 lbs through it all. Started Labor on Halloween. Went into the hospital Halloween night but got sent home, next morning went in again, and once again got sent home. Around 5pm I decided to go back and FINALLY I got to stay. Once I got there I asked for the epidural! Thank you for having that way to go. After having the epidural I was at a 7cm, which I probably could of just kept going but contrations aren't anything fun. In the room I had Oscar, My mom & my sister Danielle. We waited for my midwife to come, and finally at 10:30pm she came. She had me just wait a little longer and around 11:30pm she broke my bag. Got everthing ready and at around 12:10am she had me push and for 20 minutes & after 26 hours of labor out came my boy. Jovan Jarom Perez was born on November 2nd, 2009 at 12:36am weighing 7lbs. 14oz. and 21.5in. long. One of the greatest feelings ever.
